1.We shall demonstrate in our behavior and language respect and appreciation for the unique value and human potential of child.
Being role models is essential to the early childhood professional, children model what they see. Parents also look to teachers for advice on how to handle behavior issues. As teachers we must become familiar with resources so we can advocate for families.

I find trainings that are round table discussions with other educators in the field about best practices and resources that are being used to be the most benefitial. I always walk away with tons of motivation and ideas!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela,
ReplyDeleteI am all about being a role model for children because what we present to them is what they see and do. It is important as to who you allow around your kids because if they are a bad role model, then your child is going to start misbehaving in ways that they usually do not.
Recently I went to a training that shared information about including family engagement in early childhood and promoting school readiness. I left training not only feeling motivated but with a heads up on the new changes headed our way. Thanks for your response!
